Privacy you can check
Your files stay with you… and you can check for yourself
Most of our tools run inside your browser, so your file never leaves your device. See for yourself in a minute, no technical skills needed.
Live test
Try it now and see for yourself
Pick a PDF or an image, or use our sample file. We'll process it inside your browser while watching the network.
Or drag and drop it here. The file stays in your browser.
Files uploaded
Start the test and we'll start watching.
Requests made during the test
We watch this page's requests with your browser's built-in measuring tool (the Performance API). The counter counts every request to our upload addresses.
Check another way
Three ways, from the easiest to the most detailed. Pick whichever suits you.
Airplane mode
The easiest way on a phone: if the tool works with no internet, the work happened on your device.
- Open a tool with the “On your device” badge and try it once while online.
- Turn on airplane mode, and make sure Wi-Fi is off too.
- Run the tool on your file without reloading the page. If you get the result, nothing left your device.
The live test
The counter at the top of the page watches the network while a real file is processed on your device.
Go to the testFor advanced users
If you like the details, your browser can show you every request the page makes.
Show the steps
- On a computer, open a tool that runs on your device and press F12 to open the developer tools.
- Choose the Network tab and clear the list.
- Run the tool on your file, then type method:POST in the filter box.
- You won't find a request to /api/convert or any request carrying your file. You may see a small request to /api/track with statistics only.
The content security header
Every page from our site arrives with a Content-Security-Policy header containing
connect-src 'self' blob: data:: the page can only connect to our own site, and blob and data are data inside your browser. You'll find it in the Network tab by clicking the page request, then Headers.
Where does each tool run?
This list comes from the site's own settings, the same ones that decide where processing happens. Pick a type or search for a tool.

And when a tool needs our server?
Server tools
We say so on the tool's badge before you choose a file. Your file travels over an encrypted connection, is processed, and is deleted right after. We don't keep a copy.
AI tools
Your file reaches our server encrypted, we extract its text, and only the text is sent to the AI provider. We keep neither the file nor the text after processing. For very sensitive documents, choose a tool that runs on your device.
What do we count?
When you use a tool we send a small event with the tool name, whether it worked, how long it took, and the number and size of files (we store the size as a rough range). It never includes the file's name or contents. When you open a page we log a visit: the page address, the site you came from, the language and a temporary session number.
Common questions
Do I need technical skills?
No. The live test and the airplane mode test need no skills at all. The Network panel method is only for advanced users.
Why do some tools run on the server at all?
Because they need software that doesn't run well in a browser, such as converting Word files. We say so on the tool's badge, and the file is deleted right after processing.
Do the on-device tools work offline?
Yes, once you've opened the tool while online. If you install the site as an app, it works even when you open it offline.
