Ask your PDF and get answers with page numbers

Instead of reading a whole contract or paper to find one fact, ask the file directly and jump to the page the answer points to.

What you get

  • Answers that cite page numbers

Every answer points to the pages it came from, so you know where to read instead of taking it on trust.

  • Ask in Arabic or English

Ask in Arabic about an English file, or the other way around, and get the answer in the language you asked in.

  • How your file is handled

  • Check the page before relying on it

AI can make mistakes or read your question differently than you meant. Go back to the cited page, and avoid using the tool for highly sensitive documents.

  • Scanned files

If your PDF is made of scanned page images, run it through OCR PDF first so there is text to ask about.

  • Phone or computer

Works in Chrome and Safari with nothing to install, and is free in the current version.

Frequently asked questions

How do I ask questions about a PDF?

Choose the file, type your question in Arabic or English and tap “Send”. The answer appears with the page numbers it relied on, and you can keep asking about the same file.

Can I ask in Arabic about an English PDF?

Yes. Ask in Arabic and the answer comes in Arabic even if the file is in English, and vice versa. If you need the whole file in another language, use Translate PDF.

Is my file sent to anyone else?

Yes, and you should know that before you use it. This tool uses AI: the text is extracted from your file and sent over an encrypted connection to a third-party AI provider for processing. We don't keep the file or the text after processing. We recommend not using it for highly sensitive documents.

Are the answers always correct?

That can't be guaranteed. AI can misunderstand your question or misread the file, which is why every answer cites a page number. Open the cited page and check the original text before any decision.

My PDF is a scan. Can I ask questions about it?

The tool needs text it can extract from the file. If the pages are images, run the file through OCR PDF first, then ask about the result.

Does it work with a very long book or file?

It can, but very long files may be processed only in part. For more precise answers, split out the section you care about with Split PDF and ask about it on its own.

What is the difference between Ask your PDF and Summarize PDF?

Summarize PDF gives you an overview of the whole file, while Ask your PDF answers a specific question and points you to the page. Start with a summary to get the gist, then ask about details here.

Is it free?

Yes. All tools are free in the current version.
