The short answer: everything is free in the current version, and there is no paid plan.

Free in the current version

Every tool and every feature is free right now, whether you use it without an account or with a free one. There is no paid plan or subscription, and we don't ask for a payment card. This page describes things as they are today.

What's free?

  • All PDF tools

    Merge, split, compress, convert, edit, protect and sign, with no account.

  • All image tools

    Compress, resize and convert images, official photo sizes and background removal, with no account.

  • AI tools

    Summarize PDF and Translate PDF are free in the current version.

  • The installable app

    Install Safha on your phone or computer from the browser, with no app store.

What an account adds (also free)

You don't need an account to use the tools. A free account unlocks two features that need to save something under your name:

  • Workflows

    Chain several tools in the order you want and save them to run on new files.

    Send a document to others to sign in their browser, with a record of the time and email of each action.

Are there any limits?

Some tools may have technical limits on file size or page count, especially those that run on our server. If your file goes over a limit, the tool tells you and suggests a fix, such as splitting or compressing it first.

Is Safha really free?

Yes. All tools and features are free in the current version, and there is no paid plan right now.

Do I need to enter a payment card or subscribe?

No. There is no subscription and we don't ask for a payment card, either to use the tools or to create an account.

Do I need an account to use the tools?

No. Every tool works without an account. A free account is only needed for workflows and signature requests.

Is there a plan for businesses or universities?
