Frequently asked questions

Is extracting pages free?

Yes. You can extract pages for free without creating an account.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The tool runs in your browser on your own device and the file is not sent to any server.

What is the difference between Extract pages and Split PDF?

Extract puts the pages you pick into one new file. Split turns the whole file into several separate files.

I need just one page from a large file. How?

Open the file, tap the page you want or type its number, then tap “Extract pages”. You get a one-page PDF that is usually much smaller.

Can I extract pages as images instead?

Yes. Use PDF to JPG to save each page as a JPG or PNG image.

Can I change the order of the extracted pages?

Open the new file in Organize PDF and drag the pages into the order you want.

Can I extract pages from a password-protected PDF?

The file has to be opened first. If you know the password, remove it with Unlock PDF, then extract the pages.
