Set the DPI to get a 4×6 cm or A4 image with the right number of pixels for printing. No distortion
Maintaining the aspect ratio keeps faces and text from stretching when you change one side.Works on your phone
Resize camera photos straight from Chrome or Safari without installing an app.
Limits
The tool runs on your device, so the largest file it can handle depends on your device's and browser's memory. Very large files can take longer on phones.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between image dimensions and file size?
Dimensions are the width and height of the picture, in pixels or in centimeters when printed. File size, in KB, is how much storage the file takes. Smaller dimensions usually mean a smaller file, but if a portal asks for a size in KB, use Compress image.
How do I resize a photo to 4×6 cm?
Choose centimeters, set 300 DPI, then enter 4 for width and 6 for height to get roughly 472×709 pixels. If your photo has a different shape, crop it first or use Passport & ID photo, which crops and sizes in one go.
I need a passport or ID photo. Which tool should I use?
Use Passport & ID photo. It has ready sizes such as 4×6 cm and 35×45 mm and a white background option. Always check the requirements of the office you are applying to.
How do I resize an image to A4?
Choose millimeters, set 300 DPI and enter 210 by 297 to get about 2480×3508 pixels. If the original image is small, enlarging it will not make it sharper.
What is DPI and why does it matter?
DPI is the number of dots per inch when printing, and it is what turns centimeters into pixels. 300 is the usual choice for sharp prints; for screens, only the pixel count matters.
Will my image get blurry if I enlarge it?
Large enlargements look soft because resizing cannot invent detail that isn't there. For better results with small images, try Upscale image.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing happens in your browser on your own device, and images are not sent to any server.
