From a light blur to a strong one that makes details unreadable.Works on your phone
Select areas with your finger in Chrome or Safari without installing an app.
Limits
The tool runs on your device, so the largest file it can handle depends on your device's and browser's memory. Very large files can take longer on phones.
Frequently asked questions
Does the tool detect faces automatically?
You select faces and areas by dragging over them, which makes sure nothing you want hidden is missed. Check the whole image before downloading.
Can someone undo the blur?
A light blur can leave shapes that may be guessed, especially numbers and text. Use a strong blur and confirm in the preview that the number or face is no longer readable or recognizable.
How do I protect children's privacy in a photo I post?
Select each child's face and blur it strongly, and watch for other identifying details such as a school name on a uniform or a house number. It's also a good idea to remove location data with Remove photo metadata.
How do I hide an ID number or address in a document photo?
Select the number or address and blur it strongly. If the document is a PDF, use Redact PDF, which removes the information from the file itself.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Blurring happens in your browser on your own device, and images are not sent to any server.
Is it free?
Yes. You can blur faces and areas for free without creating an account.
