Steps

The tool runs on your device, so the largest file it can handle depends on your device's and browser's memory. Very large files can take longer on phones.

Is this a legally certified electronic signature?
This is a visual signature, an image of your signature on the page, not a digital signature backed by a certificate. It's enough for many everyday uses, but requirements vary, so ask the recipient if they need a certified digital signature.
Is my file or signature uploaded?
No. Signing runs in your browser on your own device, and neither the file nor the signature image is sent to any server.
How do I sign a PDF on an iPhone?
Open the page in Safari, pick the file from the Files app, draw your signature with your finger, place it and download. The same works on Android in Chrome.
I photographed my signature but the background shows. What can I do?
Sign with a dark pen on white paper in good light, and crop the photo tightly around the signature. A clean photo gives a much neater result.
Can the recipient move or delete my signature?
The signature is added to the page when you save. To lock it into the page, along with any filled-in fields, run the file through Flatten PDF before sending.
Is it free?
Yes. You can sign files for free without creating an account.
