What it offers
Photos stay on your device
Rotation runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded to our servers.Rotate and flip
Turn images by 90 or 180 degrees, or mirror them horizontally or vertically.Fixes mirrored selfie text
Front cameras sometimes mirror writing. A horizontal flip makes it readable again.Works on your phone
Fix the orientation of camera photos in Chrome or Safari without installing an app.
Limits
The tool runs on your device, so the largest file it can handle depends on your device's and browser's memory. Very large files can take longer on phones.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my photo appear sideways after I upload it?
Phones sometimes store orientation as a note inside the file instead of turning the image itself, and some sites ignore that note. Rotate the image here and save it, so the correct orientation becomes part of the image.
What's the difference between rotating and flipping?
Rotating turns the image around its center, like turning a sheet of paper on a desk. Flipping mirrors it, so left becomes right or top becomes bottom.
I photographed a document with the front camera and the text is mirrored. How do I fix it?
Choose a horizontal flip and the text will read normally again.
Can I rotate pages in a PDF instead?
Yes. Use Rotate PDF to turn one page or every page in the file.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Rotation happens in your browser on your own device, and images are not sent to any server.
Is it free?
Yes. You can rotate and flip images for free without creating an account.
