Disconnected letters, reversed words, lines that start on the wrong side: these are the classic problems when converting an Arabic PDF to Word. Most of the time the cause isn't the file alone, but how the converter handles Arabic script.

This page opens PDF to Word with settings tuned for Arabic text. We won't promise a perfect match, because the result depends on how the original PDF was made, but we explain what happens and how to get the best possible output.

Why Arabic letters break or reverse

Arabic letters change shape depending on their position in a word, and a PDF doesn't always store words the way we type them. It may store the drawn letter shapes in the order they appear on screen. A converter that copies that order as-is produces reversed words or isolated letters. Sometimes the font embedded in the file also loses the information needed to join letters.

That is why results vary from file to file. The tool is built to handle Arabic text and its right-to-left direction, but a file that lost letter information when it was created may still need manual fixes in places.

Digital PDF or scanned PDF?

  • Created on a computer (exported from Word or an online system): the file holds real text and usually converts more accurately.
  • Scanned or photographed: the pages are images with no text inside. OCR runs automatically in Arabic and English to read the text from the image. Accuracy depends on scan quality, and handwriting is not read well.

If you only need to search or copy from a scanned file without editing it in Word, use OCR PDF instead.

What to check after converting

Even with a good result, review complex tables, footnotes, lines that mix Arabic and English, diacritics and numbers. These are the places most likely to need a small manual fix.

Where your file is processed

Converting to Word needs processing that doesn't run in the browser, so the file is sent to our server over an encrypted connection, processed, and deleted right after processing.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Choose your Arabic PDF

Pick the file from your phone or computer. If it's password-protected, unlock it first.

  2. 2

    Keep the preset settings

Automatic OCR is on for Arabic and English and runs only on pages that need it.

  3. 3

    Convert

Tap “Convert to Word”. Scanned files take longer because every page is read from an image.

  4. 4

    Download and review

Open the file in Word and check tables, numbers and mixed-language lines before using it.

Frequently asked questions

Is Arabic PDF to Word conversion 100% accurate?

No tool can guarantee that for every file. Results depend on how the PDF was made: digital files convert more accurately, while scanned files depend on scan quality.

Why do Arabic letters come out disconnected in other converters?

Many PDFs store letters in visual rather than logical order, and some converters copy them without reordering or joining. That is why the same file can convert differently in different tools.

Can a scanned Arabic PDF be converted to Word?

Yes. OCR runs automatically in Arabic and English. The clearer and straighter the scan, the better the result; handwriting is not read well.

Does it keep tables and formatting?

It tries to keep paragraphs and simple tables. Complex tables and multi-column pages may need manual fixes afterwards.

Is my file sent to a server?

Yes, this tool runs on our server. The file is sent over an encrypted connection, processed, and deleted right after processing.

Can I convert on my phone?

Yes. Open the page in your phone's browser, choose the file, then open the resulting Word file in the Word app or any app that reads .docx files.
