A professional CV in Arabic and English, in one PDF

Bilingual mode is already on: write each field in Arabic and English, then show them side by side or Arabic first, then English.

Mostly on your device

Editing, preview, drafts, Word export and printing or saving as PDF from your browser all happen on your device; only the “Download PDF” button sends the CV content to our server over an encrypted connection to create the file, and it is deleted right after. The PNG of page 1 is made on your device when your browser allows it, otherwise the same way as the PDF.

Your CV stays on your device. Nothing is sent to a server unless you press “Download PDF” or save it to your account.

Choose a template to start

Every template supports Arabic, English and bilingual CVs. Change the template, colours and fonts any time without losing your content.

Many jobs in Iraq and the Gulf are advertised in Arabic but screened in English, or the other way around. Instead of keeping two files and forgetting to update one, write your CV once in both languages and get one PDF.

This page opens CV builder with bilingual mode switched on. Every field has an Arabic box and an English box, and the preview shows real pages as they will print on A4 or Letter.

Side by side or two parts?

You choose the layout before downloading and can switch at any time:

  • Side by side: Arabic on the right, English on the left, so readers see the same detail in both languages on one line. Good for short CVs and readers of both languages.
  • Arabic, then English: the full Arabic CV first, then the English pages in the same file. Good for longer CVs, or when different people read each language.

Real Arabic text inside the PDF

The “Download PDF” button produces a file with real Arabic text, correctly joined, not a picture of text. You can select it, copy it and search it, and applicant tracking systems (ATS) usually read text more reliably than images.

To create that file, the CV content is sent to our server over an encrypted connection and deleted right after the file is made. If you'd rather nothing leaves your device, print from your browser and choose “Save as PDF”. Editing, preview, drafts and Word export all happen on your device.

Arabic details that matter

  • Month names: Iraqi/Levant style («كانون الثاني، شباط») or the other common style («يناير، فبراير»).
  • Hijri dates, optional, if an employer asks for them.
  • Digits: Latin (123) or Arabic-Indic (١٢٣).
  • Fonts: IBM Plex Sans Arabic, Cairo, Tajawal, Readex Pro, Noto Naskh, Noto Kufi and Amiri, in 9 pairings with a matching Latin font.

Before you send it

Run the built-in ATS check. It points out fields you wrote in one language and forgot to translate, missing contact details and date order. It is guidance and cannot guarantee any hiring system will accept your CV.

If a portal has a file size limit and the photo pushes your CV over it, use Compress PDF or Compress PDF to 1 MB. Applying in Iraq? See CV template for jobs in Iraq.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a CV in Arabic and English in one file?

Open this page; bilingual mode is already on. Pick a template, write each field in Arabic and English, choose side by side or Arabic then English, and download one PDF.

Is the Arabic text in the PDF selectable?

Yes, in the file made with “Download PDF”: the Arabic is real, correctly joined text rather than an image, so you can select, copy and search it.

Side by side or Arabic then English: which should I use?

Side by side suits short CVs and shows each detail in both languages at once. Arabic then English suits longer CVs, or when each language is read by a different person. Try both before downloading.

Can I download just the English version?

Yes. Switch the CV language to English to show only the English fields and download it as a separate file, then do the same for Arabic if you need two files.

Is my CV sent to a server?

Only the “Download PDF” button sends the CV content to our server over an encrypted connection to create the file, and it is deleted right after. Editing, preview, drafts, Word and printing from the browser all happen on your device.

Is it free?

Yes, it is currently free, with no watermark and no account needed. Drafts are saved in your browser, and members can also save CVs to their free account.
