Delete your Safha account

Every member can delete their account, on the website or in the app, and it happens at once. Here are the steps, and an exact list of what is deleted and what stays.

Android, iPhone, Windows and the website safhapdf.com

No account?

Every tool works without an account. If you never created one, there is no account of yours to delete.

Delete on the website

From any browser, on a phone or a computer.
  1. Sign in to safhapdf.com the way you usually do (Google, Apple, a passkey, or e-mail and password).
  2. Open “My account” from the menu.
  3. Scroll to the end of the page, to “Delete account”.
  4. To confirm: enter your password if your account has one; if it has none, type your e-mail address exactly.
  5. Press “Delete my account”. The account is deleted at once and you are signed out on every device.

Delete in the app

In the Safha app on Android and iPhone.
  1. Open the app, then the “Settings” tab.
  2. In the “Account” group, make sure you are signed in.
  3. Tap “Delete my account”, then confirm with “Yes, delete my account”.
  4. The account is deleted from our servers and the app signs out. Files saved on your phone and in the vault stay as they are: they were never with us.
If you see “The account can’t be deleted from the app right now”, your app version is older: update it, or delete the account on the website with the steps above.

Can't sign in?

Write to us from the e-mail address of the account and ask for deletion. We reply to that same address to make sure the account is yours, then delete it the same way and let you know.

[email protected]

Never send your password. We don't need it and will never ask for it.

What is deleted

Everything that belongs to your account, at once, and it cannot be recovered afterwards:
  • The account itself: e-mail address, name, password (stored as a one-way hash), preferred language and appearance.
  • Sign-in methods: the linked Google and Apple accounts, and passkeys (of which we keep only the public key).
  • If you linked an Apple account, before deleting we ask Apple to revoke the sign-in token it issued to Safha, when we have it stored.
  • Saved workflows, and CVs saved in the CV builder.
  • Signature requests you sent: the documents, the signed copies, signature images, the list of signers and each request's audit trail.
  • The history of sign-in method changes (linking, unlinking, passkeys added and removed).
  • Every session: your account is signed out at once on the website and in every app.
You can also remove Safha in your Apple Account settings on your device: Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple.

What stays, and why

What stays does not point to you, or belongs to someone else:
  • Tool usage counts: for each run we keep the tool, where it ran, the outcome, the duration and a size bucket, never a file name or content. On deletion we cut the link between these records and your account, so they remain anonymous numbers.
  • Visit statistics: no cookies and never linked to your account. A visitor is a hash whose key changes every day, and no IP address is stored.
  • The detailed usage and visit records are deleted automatically after 400 days; after that only daily totals remain (such as how many times a tool ran on a day), with no identifier at all.
  • Documents others sent you to sign: if you signed someone else's request, the signed document and its audit trail (including the name you typed when signing) stay with the sender, because it is their document.
  • The app's anonymous install record: the app registers a random id for the installed copy, with the platform (Android or iPhone), language, version, time-zone offset and, if you turned them on, a notification token. It is not linked to your account and holds no name or e-mail. Turning notifications off in the app removes the token. The whole record is deleted automatically after 13 months in which the app is not opened.
  • Reports of an inappropriate AI result: a report carries only the tool, the reason, the app version and the language, never the document, the result or your account, so it does not point to you. Reports are deleted automatically 24 months after they are sent.

When does it happen?

Immediately when you confirm, and it cannot be undone. If you later create a new account with the same e-mail, it starts empty.
