  • Most tools run on the device

  • A few tools use our server

    With tools like PDF to Word and OCR, the file is sent to our server over an encrypted connection, processed, and deleted right after processing.

  • AI tools

    With Summarize PDF and Translate PDF, the text is extracted from the file and sent over an encrypted connection to a third-party AI provider for processing. We don't keep the file or the text after processing.

If your organization has a data policy, use the on-device tools for confidential documents and avoid AI tools for highly sensitive ones.

To be clear: what we don't offer today

We'd rather you know where things stand before you rely on us:
  • There is no business plan; the same tools are free for everyone in the current version.
  • There is no admin panel for managing staff accounts; each person uses their own account.
  • We don't offer a service-level agreement or installation on your own servers.

Frequently asked questions

Can our staff use the tools without an account?

Yes. Every tool works without an account. A free account is only needed for workflows and signature requests.

Do our documents reach your servers?

For most tools, no: processing happens in the browser. Tools that need the server or AI are clearly labeled, and you can avoid them for confidential documents.

Is a signature collected through Request signatures legally valid?

It is an electronic signature with a record of the time and email of each action, not a certificate-based digital signature. Acceptance varies by organization and country, so check what the relevant body requires.
